Thursday, April, 25th in the backyard of Bhagawan Park, Nusa Dua Bali, exactly at 7.00 pm, the participants of the International Seaweed Symposium get a special surprise from the National Organizing Committee (NOC) by presenting a Gala Dinner with the theme “Wonderfull Indonesia” in cultural night program, as one part of the symposium activity held once every three years.

The event officially opened by the Chief of the Committee, Mr. Safari Azis, he explained about the history of the Bhagawan Park with the first activity of seaweed cultivation in Bali. Because the coastal region is right behind this park and become the first place of seaweed cultivation experiment, later on developing the thallus and its branch to all over the country until now.

Next is the speech of the International Seaweed Association Counsil (ISAC) representative, Mr. Thierry Chopin. He gives the highest appreciation to the local committee, in this case the National Organizing Committee (NOC) and also the Event Organizer (EO) Pacto Convex who had held this big event successfully.
